SmartUs does not create user accounts

SmartUs can be used without registration, login, or a developer-operated account. There is therefore no SmartUs account to delete.

Delete data directly in the app

Saved TV information is stored locally on the Android or iOS device. It can include the TV name, brand, local IP address, pairing token, and a random connection identifier.

1. Open SmartUs and select the saved TV.
2. Use the delete control for the TV to remove its complete saved record.
3. To keep the TV but remove its pairing credentials, choose Reset pairing.

On Android, all local SmartUs data can also be removed from Settings by choosing Apps, SmartUs, Storage, and then Clear data. On Android or iOS, uninstalling SmartUs removes its private local data.

Submit a deletion request

You may request deletion of information associated with your use of SmartUs by email. Please identify the application as SmartUs and briefly describe what you want deleted. Do not send passwords, government identification, pairing tokens, or other sensitive information.

What will be deleted

• Any SmartUs support correspondence and related records under our control that can reasonably be identified and are not required for legal or security purposes
• Saved TV connection records when the user follows the on-device deletion steps
• Saved pairing tokens and local SmartUs connection identifiers when a TV is deleted or pairing is reset

Third-party service data

SmartUs uses Google AdMob and Google Analytics for Firebase. Advertising and analytics data may be processed by Google under its policies and product settings. We will review requests concerning data under our control and provide applicable instructions for Google privacy controls when needed.

Users can manage advertising and tracking choices in Android or iOS settings and can use the SmartUs privacy-options control where it is available.

Retention

Local TV records remain until the user removes them, clears app storage, or uninstalls SmartUs. Support correspondence may be retained only as long as reasonably necessary to complete the request, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Google service data follows Google's applicable retention controls and policies.
